By accessing our website rogumacargobrokers.co.za, contacting us via +27 79 441 2197, email Admin@rogumacargobrokers.co.za, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable South African laws including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), Consumer Protection Act (CPA), and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
Roguma provides:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any service without notice.
4.1 Registration Fee: Truck owners pay a flat platform access and verification fee of R300 (Three Hundred Rand) per truck per month. This is NOT a commission on loads.
4.2 What R300 Covers: Listing on marketplace, verification (ID, license, PrDP, vehicle disc, insurance), WhatsApp/SMS load alerts, dispute mediation support.
4.3 What R300 Does NOT Cover: It does not guarantee loads. Loads depend on market demand, location, truck type. Roguma does not take any percentage of load payments.
4.4 Payment Terms: Monthly in advance, non-refundable. Failure to pay results in de-listing. No pro-rata refunds.
4.5 Carrier Obligations: Carrier warrants that: vehicle is roadworthy, licensed, insured (goods in transit + third party), driver has valid license + PrDP, no overloading, compliance with NRTA, adherence to agreed rates and delivery times. Carrier must have valid Goods in Transit insurance. Carrier indemnifies Roguma against all claims arising from carriage.
4.6 No Employment: Registration does NOT create employment, partnership or agency. Carrier is independent.
5.1 Quotations: All quotes are estimates based on information provided. Final rate is agreed between Client and Carrier. Roguma does not fix transport rates.
5.2 Accurate Cargo Declaration: Client must accurately declare nature, weight, dimensions, value, hazardous status, and special handling requirements. Misdeclaration leading to fines, damage or rejection is Client's liability.
5.3 Prohibited Goods: Client shall NOT tender illegal goods, drugs, firearms, explosives, undeclared hazardous materials, stolen goods, or goods requiring permits without permits. Roguma reserves right to refuse any cargo.
5.4 Packaging & Loading: Client is responsible for proper packaging, counting, and safe loading unless otherwise agreed in writing. Roguma not liable for poor packaging damage.
5.5 Payment: Unless otherwise agreed, payment for transport is made directly to Carrier per Carrier's terms. Roguma may facilitate but is not responsible for payment disputes between Client and Carrier.
5.6 Insurance: Client is strongly advised to insure cargo. Carrier's Goods in Transit insurance may have limits and exclusions. Roguma does not provide cargo insurance unless separately agreed and paid.
Where we coordinate SARS customs clearing, we act as facilitator. Final clearance is performed by licensed clearing agents and SARS. Client is responsible for providing true invoices, permits, and paying all duties, VAT, and SARS penalties. We are not liable for SARS delays, inspections, or penalties due to incorrect documentation provided by Client.
To maximum extent permitted by law:
You (both Client and Carrier) agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Roguma Cargo Brokers, its owner Wesley, employees, agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs (including attorney fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your cargo/vehicle, (c) your negligence, (d) misdeclaration, (e) violation of law.
Cargo cancellation within 24 hours of truck dispatch may incur cancellation fee payable to Carrier for fuel/time. Truck no-show or cancellation after acceptance may result in Carrier suspension and penalty. Roguma mediates but does not guarantee recovery.

We process personal information in accordance with POPIA and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to processing of ID, contact, vehicle details for verification and matching. We do not sell data. See Privacy Policy page.
These Terms governed by laws of Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising shall first be attempted to be resolved via mediation through Roguma. If unresolved within 14 days, dispute shall be referred to Magistrate's Court or High Court of South Africa in Gauteng jurisdiction. Client and Carrier consent to jurisdiction of South African courts.
Where CPA applies, nothing herein limits your statutory rights. However, as brokerage service connecting two business parties, many transactions are B2B and CPA may not apply. Carrier services are business-to-business. R300 fee is for business listing, not consumer service.
Roguma not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control: strikes, riots, floods, fires, pandemics, government actions, road closures, border closures, fuel shortages, hijackings, load shedding affecting ports.
We may update these Terms anytime. Updated date at top. Continued use after update constitutes acceptance. It is your responsibility to check.
If any clause found invalid/illegal by South African court, remaining clauses remain in full force.
